New 12,167 Sq. Ft. adoption facility project.  Phase one of the project  includes a central adoption facility that features a lobby area, administration office area, adoption suites, future Cattery space, Dog and Puppy Kennel Buildings.  HVAC systems consisted of chilled water system with two air cooled chillers with advanced primary pumping, heating hot water system with gas boiler, hot water pumps, and piping distribution system. Animal areas are provided with 100% outside air, 100% exhaust  to control odor and transmission of airborne pathogens.  Lobby and Administration areas are 30% outside air, 70% return air.  All air handling units have a corresponding plate type energy recovery unit to pre-treat the outside air. Electrical system included electrical power distribution system, lighting system with low voltage controls with occupancy sensors, PA communication system, building intrusion system, fire alarm system, conduit and outlet distribution system to accommodate information technology. Plumbing systems included sanitary sewer, vent, cold water, domestic hot water, sanitary sewer system, kennel trench drain and wash down system, gas system, building storm system, building fire protection system.
